Pleased to have an image selected as a semi Finalist in this years HeadOn 2020 Photographic Awards in Sydney. They did a great job taking the whole event online this year, my hat goes off to them.

Very pleased to have my portrait of the fabulous Phoebe as a Finalist in this years National Photographic Portrait Prize announced in Canberra last Friday. Covid19 rained on the parade of course, but the exhibition looked great. Thanks you to all the staff at the National Portrait Gallery for getting together such a brilliant exhibition under trying circumstance.

Big congrats to Dylan Alcott for his six straight Australian Open win in the wheelchair quad division. He was absolutely tenacious on the court. I can tell you first hand he is a true gentleman, a great athelete and a top bloke, and this was a well deserved victory.

Congrats to all those who helped pull together a great exhibition night at Sun Studios for the ‘THIS TIME IT’S PERSONAL’ event. One hundred phototgraphers donated editioned prints with proceeds going to the Chris O’Brien Lifehouse, providing care for people affected by cancer.

It’s time again for the annual Moss Foundation Charity Auction, where 100 artists are given blank skate deck to create art pieces. All funds raised on the night go directly to clean water projects in Africa, it’s a great cause!

Now this is a room with a view! I thought this green screen set with a Stradbrooke Island view was pretty special, trying to match interior lighting set ups outside on some ones side lawn!

Spotted these poor souls on a location recce recently. They struck me as being in a lot of pain, but that may have been the point!

My portrait of the artist Stephen Cummings has been selected as a finalist in the Martin Kantor Portrait Award, which runs in conjunction with the upcoming BIFB during August. I’m loving that a darkroom silver gelatin print has been chosen, and that it’s a pic of one of my favorite musicians.
