SUNNY GREEN SCREEN

September 22, 2019

Now this is a room with a view! I thought this green screen set with a Stradbrooke Island view was pretty special, trying to match interior lighting set ups outside on some ones side lawn!

THE FACES OF PAIN

July 23, 2019

Spotted these poor souls on a location recce recently. They struck me as being in a lot of pain, but that may have been the point!

My portrait of the artist Stephen Cummings has been selected as a finalist in the Martin Kantor Portrait Award, which runs in conjunction with the upcoming BIFB during August. I’m loving that a darkroom silver gelatin print has been chosen, and that it’s a pic of one of my favorite musicians.

FAREWELL BIG BOB

April 9, 2019

Last week we retired our old faithful Big Bob. We was a custom built, high voltage, 10,000 watt second behemoth that was built in the days of f64 8X10 transparencies. He is just too powerful and out of date now, and it was with great sadness that he was decommissioned like an old navy battleship, 30 years of reliable, faithful service!
