The ‘Green’ restaurant at the Green Grass Hotel in Jaffna lives up to it’s name. It was seriously green, dark and windowless. We all sort of lost our appetite for some reason.

We ate really well in Cambodia, with our fixers insisting we eat everything local. This was a typical lunch, although I had this unnerving feeling that the fish’s eye kept following me around the room!

We were in this restaurant in Battembang, and I was sure this woman must be part of the Royal family. No, my minders assured me. Then she walked by our table, she owned the restaurant! Love the retouching.
